June 12, 2008: Bang a Gong
Today DS turned 14 years old! Our family tradition is to let the birthday guy or girl choose a restaurant for dinner, and DS chose the local Japanese steak house. When we told them it was his birthday, they brought him a dish of ice cream and let him bang the birthday gong. It was loud!
